A fast-growing Kenyan startup discovered that key elements of its software interface and branded visuals had been copied and repackaged by a larger competitor. Without registered rights or a clear legal strategy, they risked erosion of market trust and difficulty attracting investment.
We moved swiftly to assert their copyright over original software elements and initiated industrial design registration to cover the visual presentation. Legal notices were issued, warning of infringement and demanding immediate take-down.
